Each gemstone was meticulously sourced from Idar-Oberstein, Germany- a region renowned for the finest gem cutters in the world. Some of these exquisite stones were cut by the legendary Bernd Munsteiner, the inventor of the Fantasy Cut, whose visionary craftsmanship transformed gems into breathtaking works of art. Bernd, who passed in 2024, seldom cut stones for jewelry houses, but his deep friendship with Hildgund made this collection truly exceptional.

Every piece was handcrafted in Hawaii and safeguarded upon Hildgund’s passing in 2012. Many were never available before 1995, represent the pinnacle of rare, one-of-a-kind elegance.
